Effective immediately, we will discontinue to abide by AP style datelines when it pertains to stories that originated from the People's Republic of China or Taiwan. Instead, we will label all stories as city, PROC or city, Taiwan (Formosa). It is the official stance of this blog that Taiwan is an independent country and not a part of the People's Republic of China or more commonly known as China. This is our stance and does not reflect Blogger or Google's stance. If you'd like to know their stance, inquire with Google. Our new dateline policy is to reflect our stance. Stories that originated in all other countries will be in AP style format.
