LOS ANGELES -- Hyundai unwraps the three-row Santa Fe at the LA Auto Show. Hyundai says that the Santa Fe is the only midsize compact ultility vehicle with a standard direct injection V6 engine. The 3.3 liter V6 engine produces 290 horsepower. The new Santa Fe features Hyundai's "Fluidic Sculpture" design language. Safety is of importance and the Santa Fe has seven airbags standard. Hyundai says the Santa Fe is lighter than the Veracruz and the new Pathfinder from Nissan. The three row Santa Fe will go on sale early next year. Hyundai says they'll announce the pricing of the Santa Fe closer to the sale date.
